The Leavers thread is, like, forty times better than the Farewell thread. A leaver is a type of person, but farewell is, like, a verb used imperatively.

I suggest everyone become a proud member of the Leavers thread! All you have to promise is that when you wish to leave Metanet, you do it without saying any "farewell"s or "goodbye"s.

I think the irony is that a "leaver" would does not post a proper "farewell" could never make the leavers list, because no one would ever know he was leaving.

Eldrial may, in fact, be a leaver. I think that is much more admirable than being a noisy fareweller. Either way, he might be gone--which makes for to being of the sadness.

But I do see Kablizzy posting from time to time... or is that me? Or is it a recent/late post? Uh... eh... *goes into seigure*

But to be serious, I think Sendy is gone too.

Actually, I've received updates from Kablizzy and Tsukatu once in a while. It's not very often, and certainly doesn't happen enough for them to be considered "active", but they still exist.

And I agree. Eldrial's disappeared from both Web Riddler and here. I think he's gotten hooked on Soldat. Keron, could you go find him and smack some sense into him?

I'm much less active ever since school started. I'm not sure if that qualifies me as a "leaver," but it's certainly a noticable difference.

Well, I know Eldrial is still alive for sure. He commented/demoed some maps back around the 15th or something.

Let me tell you all that the only reason I'm leaving is—wow! not Maniac—nevermore getting me upset. I know he'll tell you something about how I suck at life and telling people they suck at life and other stuff like how I don't contribute a single thing to this forum and how everyone hates me and that I should totally be killed and brought out of this world and that I bring shame to all wolves and that when I am dead my corpse should be looted then shot to make my spirit leave the earth and how I am so heartless and mean to everyone on this forum and that I post very stupid one or two word posts that are just to raise my post count to a number that isn't even 1/6 of his and that I'm some stupid n00b who doesn't deserve to treat everyone as equals and that I should rub everyone's fricken' feet to make up for all the shame and disgrace that I have brought upon myself!

Now, he's going to warn me for bringing the spirit of the community to an all-time low that has never happened before and making everyone mad that I didn't leave sooner.Then he's going to ban me for saying that I'm leaving and be like, oops, too bad, you said you were leaving so it wouldn't matter if you were banned or not so BANN'D!

Where t3h fuggs did that come from, Blackwolf? To prevent from being warned, you could:

a) leave forevar,
b) die, or
c) stop spamming.

I advise option C. It's the most rational and simple way of improving the community. Once in a while, you may think of a question you'd like to ask or something you'd like to say. If this statement fits two or more of these criteria, it is spam:

a) has nothing to do with the topic of the thread,
b) is only one or two sentences long,
c) could be better issued as a PM to a specific member, or
d) could be included as part of a larger or more relevant post.

Think before you post and you won't have to... go off the deep-end like that evar again.

Sometimes a post is just to point something out to someone, and you usually only require one sentence for that. Sometimes a post is for humor, and you might only need one or two sentences. And sometimes a post just doesn't need very many words.

Why are you guys having so much trouble writing "b)"?
