Wow, that's really, really nice. I definitely don't have the patience to do this kind of thing.
I just import a picture into Flash and trace it (I don't use the trace tool thingy, I literally trace it).
Flash, ftw
And what does 'vexel' mean? If you're looking for the word for a 3D pixel, it's voxel, not vexel

I guess you didn't read the tutorial?

I know it's a pen, but why did they call it that?
I explain it in the tutorial, but apparently you don't want to read it...
Vexel is the use of vector techniques on a pixel program..
Very nice tutorial. I wish I was patient, too. I may try it someday though.

Vexel is a pen tooling in Photoshop

I just want to know what the word 'vexel' means. I'm assuming it was a made-up word because a google search of 'define:vexel' brings no results.
EDIT: wikipedia to the rescue!!
QUOTE (WIKIPEDIA!!)
A vexel is an entirely pixel-based raster image that imitates the vector graphics style. The word derives from a combination of "vector" and "pixel".
There we go.
Wait a minute...
